We have not had this problem reported for CVI 5.5. I have used hundreds of
projects built in CVI 5.0 in CVI 5.5. There must be something specific with
your project or UIR file that caused the problem. CVI 5.5 should be able
to use any project from CVI 5.0. You may want to contact our support engineers
and let them look at your project to see if we can find out why you experienced
