USB support

I use LabWindows/CVI in its last version and need to write an interface to
an USB device (medical DSP amplifier) which will be designed in the next
months.

Will LabWindows/CVI support low level USB functions in the next version or
are there any Windows SDK Libraries available to handle the WIN98/WinNT built
in USB functions?

Is there an answer to this one yet? Does CVI support USB communications?

You should be able to communicate to a USB device by configuring the device using the NI-VISA drivers.  A short tutorial can be found here:

Creating and installing the INF file didn't work. I got the correct vendor ID (0C2E) and product ID (0206) and created the INF as per the instructions. But I could not install/update the driver for my device. The device I created does not show up in the Hardware Update Wizard window.

No matter what I do, it only want to install the standard windows drivers.

This happens on two different Windows XP computers.
