It's likely that if you used a ghost image from another machine that is not absoutely identical that you could have a MAX database corruption (or confusion at least). Since the ghost would have copied the database from the other machine it would be completely wrong for the machine that you are on. You can run through this procedure and remove the current database, when you restart MAX it will rediscover and create a new database. Let us know if this takes care of your issue!

I managed to get this working by renumbering the two VXI systems that were reported in MAX. Setting the 'correct' system to zero seemed to fix everything. I had XP put on the other test machine, and it appears to be working now as well. I still don't know why the service pack caused the issues with windows 2000 machines, but at least my test stations are back up.
