Using DAO to pass a Query to MS Access

I am using CVI 6.0.
I am attempting to access data in a MS Access 2000 database using DAO version 2.51/3.5.
I can get the dbEngine, but cannot open the database. I have not been able to locate any examples for this type of application.
Any Help?
