What are most important factors to speed up CVI's compile and link time?

An AMD 2600 is about three times slower than a Pentium 2000, even though both have 512K RAM.

Hello

You should be able to find more information about the CVI compiler in the CVI programmers reference manual. However, there could be other factors as well, like the state of the disk (virtual memory available), other applications running etc, that might be slowing the process down as well.
