This is a really problematic question! CVI vs. LabVIEW has been discussed tons of time in this forum, some threads that you may want to read are this ten-years-long-discussion, this one and this other one, but a search in the forums will give you several discussions more to read.

Both environments have a built-in compiler but it is not easy to answer such a question.

Perhaps giving some detail more on your situation will help improving the discussion.

BTW, it's not LabVIEW CVI, it's LabWindows/CVI
