When using vertical binning, I get a timeout error on imaqGrab but not imaqSnap

Absolutely.  The attached file with the name "functioning" is the file I am using currently.  The other is the file I downloaded as a starting point.  I've changed the extension to .txt because the forum would not allow .icd for an attachment.  I appreciate the help.  By the way, the syntax for a few serial commands such as setting an ROI from the camera involve multiple parameters (four integers in the case of ROI, one for each corner of a rectangle) e.g. "roi 1 1 4096 96".  How does one specify an attribute in an .icd file which uses more than one parameter?

To answer your question about the formatting and sending of a multiple parameter function, you will need to get in touch with Dalsa regarding that.  I'm not sure how they expect to receive the command.  However the camera is expecting the parameters is how you would write it in the camera file.  The example you put would be formatted properly if that is the correct order and format that the camera is expecting.  As I mentioned, that will vary between cameras.

In addition, do you have the software provided by Dalsa that interfaces with this camera?  If so, can you perform Grabs using that software with this camera?  I'm just wanting to confirm that the camera is capable of performing a Grab with binning enabled as according the Dalsa before we try to get LabVIEW to perform a task that the manufacturer doesn't explicitly claim will work.

I was looking through our compatibility reports for this camera and don't see any mention of the 1427 at all.  Let me look into this some more and I'll let you know what I find.
