Why can't I run CVI sample program for printing? I get a -4 error from the call to NIReport_New.

I have tried to run the sample nirsample.prj program, but I get a -4 returned from NIReport_New and the program says it can't initialize NI Reports. Why is this? I have tried it under 5.5 and 6.0. I don't have MS office or MS word loaded on the PC. Do I need this?

I've got the same trouble with only a kind of printers. NI support doesn't have any solution...I hope you will !

Seems that the problem could be ralated to the printer's driver implementation, there is another posting with some good information on this:

DMcC explains how this works and there are also there some things to try to get arround this problem. I would also appreciate if you could give me some specifics of the printer that you are using so that we can keep track of the problem and work on it. I hope this help and appreciate your response,

I've alsso this problem with a HP desket Inkjet 1200. But it work with oki laser and so on.
