Why oh why does the Debug Output window hide automatically?

I use Debug Output for almost all of my debugging and the window is hidden by default and, even worse, hides itself randomly.  If this happens I have to stop the program debugging instance to open the Debug Output window.  Is there a setting I can change to make it stop hiding and also show by default?

I am running RT on a PXI and my program depends on a Windows-based program to run as well so it is slightly more annoying to have to restart everything.

Did you try Options>>Environment>>Bring Debug Output window to front whenever modified?

If it is constantly updating will I be able to migrate to other windows like the watch window, etc?

You can open other windows but Debug Output will still focus each time it is updated. However, Watch Window and others can be used only when execution is suspended
