Working with Agilent VSA

Hi,
I am working with agilent vsa 89600. I am trying to use the supplied .tlb files in order to create activex controller but i always get the following message :
"Error loading library type/DLL"
Need your urgent help on this matter.
Thanks,
Aviad

Hey Aviad,

So usually this type of error is an indication that the ActiveX Server has not been registered on your computer yet.  Have you registered it?  Who supplied you with the .tlb file?

Hi,
I will continue this thread instead of Aviad.
I do not understand the problem you described with the activex server - I don't know if it registered so i would appreciate if you guide me in registering the server in order to create the controller from the .tlb files. Also - Are the .tlb files sufficient for creating the activex controller? don't I need a similar DLL file?
This is very urgent for us.
Thanks in advance,
Moshik

Here is a document that talks about registering activex controls: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/4F811A9B23F1D46E862566F700615B7A?OpenDocument

Hi,
I tried what you suggested but I still get the error.
When I open the activex controller wizard it identifies the VSA as registered server but when I am trying to load it I get the error.
Any more Ideas?
Thanks,
Moshik

Hey Aviad,

Can you send me the link where you downloaded the drivers?  Also, are you including the fp in your project?
