compatibility mode

We are using LabWindows ver 6.0.0 (105) installed on windows 2000.
Some of our projects require Microsoft Visual C/C++ compatibility mode
and other projects require Borland C/C++ compatibility mode. Since it
is not possible to change the compatibility mode without reinstalling
what other options do we have? Is it possible to have 2 installations
of CVI on a single computer, one for each compatibility mode?

Unfortunately, there isn't a better way than to run back through the installer. Because of how MSI installations work, you can't install two version of the exact same software on the system. The good news is that we are addressing this issue in the next CVI release where you won't have to run back through installation to change compatibility modes.
