Running CVI 9.1.1 I tried to generate a new distribution via Build / Distributions / Manage Distributions / New but all I got was the following:
On the same Windows / CVI machine I have successfully built other distributions earlier and I don't see what I did wrong this time...
Suggestions are welcome!
Thanks...!
PS: I could bypass this inconvenience by copying and editing an .cds file from an earlier distribution

Hi Wolfgang,
were you able to reproduce this error? Does it only occure with that specific file? Are you able to compile one of the examples?
When you get the Windows error message there is a hyperlink "click here". Could you please post this file or a screenshot?
Kind regards

Could you zip up your project and .cds file and post them to our ftp server? (ftp://ftp.ni.com/incoming) Once posted, please reply with the name of the .zip file. If you cannot post your project, then the failing .cds file could still be helpful. Also, a debug log might have some information that would help us.

Hi Carsten,
I have tried it twice, experiencing the same crash, but after cloning and adapting an earlier cds file the problem was resolved so I did not investigate it further. I will try to reproduce it and if successful upload the files as suggested by Mert.
Thanks!!
Have a nice day, Wolfgang
