I get the linker error I placed in the subject header when I compile my program in debug configuration.  If I compile it in release config I get no linker errors.

Im running CVI V17 , and I haven't changed any compiler settings.  Do I need to update my visa.lib file ?

I "fixed" this error by selecting options>build options>debugging options=no run time checking.

I still haven't found the root cause of the error.  I suspect a VISA dll conflict/version issue
