I would first recommend an article on our Developer Zone about Spatial Calibration. It also has some links if you would like more detail into it.

The next thing to do is to open up one of the Calibration examples for CVI which comes with Vision. You can find the examples in this directory:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudio\CVI\samples\Vision\2. Functions\Calibration

I would recommend starting with the Simple Calibration example.

in the example the file NIMachineVision.c and NIMachineVision.h are missing. i'can not find it on whole harddisk.
perhaps i have a wrong version of cvi? i have 5.5!
could you please send me this files?
