how to create IVI-Driver usign Labwindows

Hi,

I need to developed IVI-Custom class drivers for the non IVI-Instruments, how I can do that using the Labwindows (version 8.1 which has create IVI-Custom class driver option in the menu). Pls let me know.

One more question: How I can create a installer using Labwindows create IVI driver installer option for the custom IVI-driver?

Hi Prashantha,

IVI class drivers will not work for a device that is not IVI compliant.  You may want to check your devices and make sure that they are IVI compliant.  For more information about IVI, please see the following link: IVI Foundation.

The IVI Custom Class Driver wizard provides instructions, but you can also look in the CVI help for more detailed information.  The CVI help is available online at the Online CVI 8.5 Help.  Please let me know if you are confused by a particular step and I can provide more information.
