installation error

I am trying to install NI Developer Suite in Windows 7 in my notebook; just in the beggining appears an error window:

Error: Windows SDK function returned an error (eror code -12).

So I click OK and the installation goes on, until when I select the installation directory; at this point the same error window open and when I click OK the windows close...

What version of developer suite you have? Windows 7 only supported afeter 2009 version with device drivers from nov 2009.

You don't mention which version of Developer Suite that you are using, but it is most likely the following problem (and possible workaround):
