.llb files with LabWindows?

I have LabWindows 5.0 and a New Focus Laser.  New Focus has downloadable files to help with programming.  They are *.llb files.  From what I understand these are labview library files....Can I open them with LabWindows and if so, how?

Unfortunately it is not possible to directly load LLB files into CVI; consider also that CVI5 was not so evolved in communicating to external software via ActiveX, so direct interaction with LabVIEW is not so easy to achieve. In my opinion you'd better get in touch with the vendor and ask for a DLL to directly use in CVI or for a communication protocol to use in connecting to the device: instruments are usually connected via serial or GPIB, both of them well supported in CVI, so it would be not so hard to develop your own driver once the protocol is known.
