ni serial library with quatech driver

Quatech sells a PCI multiport serial board.  They provide a driver with the board for Windows XP / 2K.  Does anyone know that the CVI rs 232 library will or won't work with this product?  My understanding is that the NI rs-232 library uses the native windows serial driver.

We're using version 1.74 of the Quatech driver on a XP Pro SP1 system.

Bob,

You are correct that the CVI RS232 library is built on top of Windows functions.  I have no specific knowledge of the Quatech board or driver, but as long as the board can be controlled by the Windows functions, the CVI library functions should work just fine.
