"Evaluation Copy" message on CWGraph ActiveX control (cwui).

I have a project created in LabWindows that is using the CWGraph (cwui) ActiveX control.  The CWGraph has a "Evaluation Copy" message displayed on it that I would like to remove.

I have fully licensed versions of LabWindows/CVI and Measurement Studio for Visual Studio .NET (v8).  I have tried using the "MeasurementStudioLicenseFixer" included in the Measurement Studio install CD, but the only control that appears is the "3D Graph control 8.0".

If anyone has suggestions as to how to remove the "Evaluation Copy" message, I would appreciate it.

Hi herold421,

On your Measurement Studio 6 CD, there is a directory called ActiveX License Fixer Utility, run the executable under this directory to see if it fixes the licensing for the ActiveX controls.  I'm not sure if this is what you meant by "MeasurementStudioLicenseFixer".

If it is, keep in mind you also need to log in as an administrator to do this.
Can you send a screenshot of what the ActiveX License Fixer utility shows after you run it?

Finally, have you tried to create a new project after you run the fixer utility? Do you still get the "Evaluation Copy" message?

On a side note, for future reference you probably want to post CWGraph questions to one of the Measurement Studio boards since the CWGraph is a Measurement Studio control.

Jervin,

Thanks for your reply.

The "MeasurementStudioLicenseFixer" of which I spoke was the ActiveX license Fixer Utility.  I ran the fixer utility again, and the screenshot is attached.

I did create a new project after running the fixer utility, but the "evaluation copy" message was still there.

Any further suggestions?

Thanks,
Randy

Hi Herold421,

There are some situations where the License Fixer doesn't completely resolve the issue. Please refer to the following KnowledgeBase article that walks you through some potential workarounds.

Hope this helps!
