resman Unable to load MAX configuration

my original problem was cvi failing to allow any brakpoints and getting lost. I uninstalled all cvi and visa programs. I reinstalled cvi and visa. Now I get "VXI Resource Manager failed due to the following error:Unable to load MAX configuration" when trying to run resman.

Are you logged in as an administrator? This issue usually shows up if you are not logged into your computer as an administrator. I found the problem. While un-installing some of the other ni components my copy of the VXI drivers became corrupted. After reinstalling the VXI drivers I was able to run resman again. That still left me with my original problem. I then deleted all files for my project except the project file and the source. This fixed my original problem
