Hi,
I am somewhat surprised that in the Advanced Analysis Library I couldn't find any routine for numerically finding roots - except PolyRootEx for real polynomials. Did I miss it (could be the lack of coffee) or should I file a product suggestion?
Yes, there is the GNU Scientific Library, but having it in CVI would be nicer, of course...
Thanks!

Hi Wolfgang,
there is CxPolyRootsEx for finding the roots of complex polynomials...
But you are right - these are the only two that I found in the Advanced Analysis Library's function tree. Filing a suggestion is always a good idea if you want software enhancements, which is why I am posting a link here:
Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,
thanks for confirmation... I'll take the opportunity to repeat my earlier suggestion placed in the Feedback on NI Discussion Forum to enhance this Product Suggestion Center by providing a full Idea Exchange forum for CVI - this way there would be a public 'wish list' that might inspire others to further improve submitted suggestions etc.
