run CVI on 64 bits OS

Hello,

I'm going to change my PC and I'm wondering if CVI 8.5 and later can run on a 64 bits OS (XP, Vista) ?

It will run on a 64 bit OS (as a 32 bit application) but cannot be used to create a 64 bit executable of any kind.  Apparently the next major release (10.0?) of CVI will be able to create 64 bit executables.

This question answered in a couple of threads on this forum if you search for it.
