I can not use MessagePopoup() beacuse I want to display more information, so the proposed function has not the capabilities I need.

You are right I want to create a modal panel, and I tried this with InstallPopup and RemovePopup. But I had the problem, that before the first call of RunUserInterface my panel did not process the click on the OK button.

The third point helps a lot to me, its an implicit descreption how to use RunUserInterface. However in another (older) thread in this forum I found the note, that you can call RunuserInterface only once and not in the nested way you suggested. Maybe this was valid for older versions CVI.

The discussion shows to me the variabilty of CVI in having different solutions for one problem, giving the software engineer the opportunity in choosing the method which seems fitting best to a specific situation.
