secure SQL transactions with CVI?

I have written a CVI application that is a TCP Server. I want to be able to place a few of these servers across the internet, and have them be able to query and update a remote database. I need this database to be secure, and the conversations between the TCP servers and the database to be fairly secure. What add-on tools for CVI does NI make to allow me to build this?

Sir,
What do you mean by secure database? We do have a SQL toolkit we sell for CVI, but I couldn't tell you the exact details on the security for your application at this time. We also have a TCP library that comes standard with CVI, and this allows you to set up communications between clients and servers, but again, I am not sure what you mean by fairly concerned in terms of the conversations. Do you have multiple users, restricted files or views, IP addresses?

Yes. We have used the TCP library extensively. At this point I have created an ActiveX controller from the MS DAO 3.5 Object Libray and think that I will be able to use this to access an SQL 2000 Server. Is this correct? If this is readily available, why would someone buy the SQL toolkit (ie what are ther advantages of the SQL toolkit)?
