Hi,

I use Clemessy's TestinView (TIV), and to creat GUI I use Labview, a *.vi and TIV communicate using input and Output clusters, Now I would like to use Labwidows/CVI to creat a GUI for a special application, how would TIV and the labwindows application communicate. .

could someone for Clemessy ansewer my question please.

Hello,

As describe in the TIV User Manual it's possible to interfacewith TestInVIEW to different types of GUI : LabVIEW GUI and .NET GUI.
At this time it's not possible to interface LabWINDOWS/CVI GUI  with TestInView. It's not due to an incompatibility but we never had the request.

So I would have several question,

What is you're company ?

Which version of TestInView do you use ?

Why do you need LabWindows GUI ?  Do LV or .NET GUIs could be conveniant for your application ?

I am a consultant at Renault Technocenter, I use theTIV 4.1.2h, I need to creat an application that creats GUI that can be interfaced whith TIVusing Labview, I am currently exploring possible solution.

You are not right .. Boooo ! .. TIV can be accessed from Labwindows CVI using it's dotnet api !

This has already been done by RSA. (TIV vision addon)

To interface CVI to TIV you can use the set/get api like the one used by TestStand.
