tooltip multiline error

Using the attributes panel for controls in the uir editor, trying to use the tooltip editor i get Buffer error message

same problem as reported here, but this is occuring in cvi2015,

Thank you very much for your post! 

This is a known bug and our R&D is planning on changing it. Unfortunately, this is still an active bug, meaning that the R&D is still working on it. As Johannes_T mentioned on the linked forum post, the bug ID is #492787.You could check the readme file of the new releases of  LabWindows/CVI to verify if this bug has been fixed.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience. 

There is a workaround if you need to add multiple lines where you can:
1) Insert a newline character (\n) in the string of the Tooltip Text field in the Attribute Browser
2) Programmatically set the attribute
