Is it possible to set the color of a panel to transparent?

It is not possible to simply set the background color of a panel to transparent. But this topic has been discussed before. Take a look at this thread ant this other thread. Hope this helps...

Apparently no, given the ATTR_BACKCOLOR (Panel) list.  But you can make it invisible.

What are you trying to achieve?
