tried the "fix" in known issue 372694.  Trying to run in debug mode, debug mode greyed out.

Can you tell me more about your application?

Are you trying to use static libraries? They only get built in release mode. Are you trying to debug it after building it?

You can also post your code, or a samller version of it, I can run it and see if I get the same behaviour.

Let me know how it goes.
