Is there a reason for to use DDE to interact with Excel instead of ActiveX? DDE is scarsely documented and there is very little examples on its use: there used to be an example with Excel but it refers to release 5 of CVI and cannot be located on NI site. The only downloadable example I could find refers to Word and dates back to 2006!
