using component works

hi dears!
I've usign labwindows CVI (great! i love it) and NI SPC toolkit to make SPC applications, but now i started to use component works with visual basic (easy nice!!!), but i want to know how or if I can use, in some way, the functions of the SPC toolkit using Component works with V. Basic. It's posible to make the same I made with CVI and SPC toolkit with component works?

Thanks for taking advantage of the Developer Exchange forum to search fellow developers and engineers here at NI for the answer to your question. We really do think that this is an invaluable resource.

Now, on to your SPC toolset question. Unfortunately, the current answer to your question is no. The entire Enterprise Connectivity Toolset, which includes the SPC toolset, was originally designed only for use in CVI. As a result, it was compiled into an .OBJ file, which is originally designed only for use in CVI. The .OBJ file type is not handled very well in any Visual Studio environment.

I have made a note of your request and, as with all customer suggestions, we will be sure to consider this for upcoming releases of this product.
