voice logging using daq

I am a new user to Labwindows/CVI and i 've been assigned a project of voice logger using NI DAQ. Please tell me how a begginer should start in order to get familiar with cvi and daq as well.

Hello,

I would take a look at the CVI and DAQ shipping examples found in Help > Find Examples.  In particular, I would browse to Hardware Input and Output>Sound.for examples that relate to using the Windows SDK multimedia library.
