Solved!

Hi, john_cvi_user.

I think I have been able to reproduce the duplication issue not covered by the fix for bug report 472358. The steps to reproduce this issue are as follows:

1. Debug a project.
2. While at a breakpoint, add a watch expression.
3. Press GO, and resume execution.
4. Close the Watch window if it is open.
5. Debug the project again.
6. At the breakpoint, simply press GO to resume execution without opening the Watch window.
7. Debug the project again.
8. At the breakpoint, open the Watch window, and notice a duplicate watch expression has been created.
9. Close the watch window. Note: if you do not close the watch window at this point, duplicate watch expressions are deleted.
10. Press the stop sign to terminate execution.
11. Close LabWindows/CVI. Note: The workspace will contain a duplicate watch expression.

I have reopened the bug report to address this gap.

Thanks for your persistence in reporting this!
