window Bug of CVI 7.0

When many projects with C source files are put into the same workspace, there will be many source windows in the workspace. If you use menu "Window|Close All" to close all the windows, when you open ONE file, the OTHER file will be opened also.Even closing the windows one by one,it still act like this.

Hi,

I'm sorry but I have not been able to reproduce this. I have opened at least 5 projects in my workspace, opened several source files from different projects, closed them all using Window >> Close All, and then tried to reopen one of the files. Only the one file opens up. I'm wondering if something odd is going on with your workspace. If possible, can you create a new workspace and then add your projects to it and see if it still happens? Otherwise, can you provide a workspace and set of projects that can reproduce this behavior? Thanks!

I feel so regret to have been so rash to make a judge. Today I reopen the same workspace, the scenario is NOT recur. But in that day, it occured many times. Maybe it is for the sake of resources scarcity, or for occasional happenings. By the way, the workspace include more than 20 projects which I created to build static librarys from activex control's drivers.

Hi,

Just for fun I tried to add several more projects to my workspace (25) and then tested the close/reopen again. I didn't see any problems as before, and so I think it's really a matter of undefined behavior when something's up with your system resources. I would just pay attention to what things you have been doing in that workspace and see if you can eventually find a way to have this be a recurring behavior. Also, maybe it would be resolved if you moved to another development machine? These are some ideas that may help narrow down what may be happening. Let me know if you encounter this again. Thanks!
