word instrument disappears everytime I close cvi -always have to reload

everytime I close cvi I lose my wordreport instrument and have to reload when I reenter cvi. Is this a known bug or am I just a lucky one? 😉

Hello Spike,

This is expected behavior if you only added the instrument to your library tree.  All instruments that are only present in the library tree will only persists for the current session.  In order to associate an instrument with a particular project/workspace, you have to add the instrument(.fp) file to the project.  Once you add the function panel to your project, CVI will automatically reload the instrument driver every time that project is launched.
