Daqmx for recent kernels

Hi All;

I was trying to set the default power up states on a bunch of ni-6509 dio cards, and found that the most recent daqmx for linux is really old. Is Daqmx for Linux a dead product? Is there something newer than version 8.something? Just curious. Is there another way to set the default power up states in Linux? My kernel is a version 3.X.

Thanks

Pat

Hi,

The latest version of NiDAQmx is 8.0.2. You can use it with RHEL 6.x, Scientific Linux 6.x or with some old distro with linux kernel 2.6.x.

Alternatively, you can use NIDAQmxBase 14 which run under Linux distro with kernel up to 3.3.x. I don't know exact number. Distro 2-3 years old or you can try to build older kernel for one of current distro.
