Installing PyVISA, NIVISA in Ubuntu 10.10 (64bit)

I am trying to configure my Ubuntu 10.10 (64bit) system to work with PyVISA and NIVISA.

My requiremet is to talk with instruments using python scripts via GPIB.

Can anyone let me know how to configure my system.

Currenlty I am using Engthought python distribusion (64bit).
