Installing a Labview Windows exe on Linux with the command "Wine "

hello,

Installing a Labview Windows exe  on  Linux with the command "Wine " , is this possible ?

I've not heard any reports from anyone trying this.  You'll need the LabVIEW runtime engine to run your .exe  I'm not sure that Wine could be configured to use that.  I'd certainly be interested in how things work out for you though.

I've been able to get LabVIEW 6.1 to run under Wine on older Linux distributions. But LabVIEW 6.1 was quite contained in terms of using Windows technologies. A more recent version is very likely to run into all kinds of not fully working or implemented Windows features under Wine.

Yes!

But just run applications no need hardware drivers.

The hardware drivers that need to install kernel device drivers (all plug-in boards and some others too) have no chance to run under Wine anytime soon.
