NI-KAL 2.1 now available

NI-KAL 2.1 has been released. You can download it here:

This release adds support for OpenSUSE 11.3. Please note you also need to download and install the NI-VISA Run-Time Engine 5.0 (or higher) to gain support for OpenSUSE 11.2 & 11.3. Please let us know if you have any questions, thanks!

is there other changes on top of opensuse 11.3 support ?

I was not able to find the changelog

Hi Braice,

We don't have a public changelist, but I can provide an outline here:

     - Fixed build problems on openSUSE 11.3.

     - Drop usage of IRQF_DISABLED (which will soon be deprecated).

     - Ensure secondary interrupt handlers are complete before destroying them.

     - Fixed CPU load problem with sleeping kernel threads.

Please also note that we're currently working on adding openSUSE 11.4 support. We'll provide updates when this becomes available.
