Updated NIKAL for Linux 3.8

Hello,

I came across the following discussion for compiling NIKAL on Linux 3.8 kernels (for ubuntu). This is working well for me, but I was curious if an updated NIKAL is going to be released?

The latest I found on the website is for 2.3.1 and the discussion mentions a v2.4 release.
