2 PLCs( main and standby) how is lookout going to know which is the main PLC?

2 PLCs are Modicon Product.In case if main fails the standby becomes the main. under this situation how is lookout going to react.
When the main PLC returns to its original state it is going to become main.
lookout should always look into the main.

You could set a unique bit in both the PLCs to true to signify that it is the current Main PLC. You can then have Lookout check for this bit in your program and take action accordingly. You could use Symbolic links to switch all the connections from one PLC to another.
