Just get a a menu and the rest is with a grey background. I can then , sometimes, load a second session and all will come up ? This machine has worked fine for the past seven months and not a bit of trouble. All I did was to do the update files to the LookOut directory with the fixes and placed some pagers into the program. Which see to work well. But stuned...

Hello,

You may want to reinstall the lookout services on that PC. You can do this by following these steps:

1. At a DOS prompt, change to the Windows system directory (C:\winnt\system32), as shown in the following example:
C:\> cd \winnt\system32

2. Type the following to remove and install the Lookout Services:

lkads -remove
lktsrv -remove
lkcitdl -remove
lkads -install -auto
lktsrv -install -auto
lkcitdl -install -auto

3. Now you can manually start up the Lookout services in the Services applet in the Control Panel. Your services should start when Lookout launches.

If this doesn't work, you may wish to simply uninstall and reinstall Lookout.

I hope that this helps.

Regards,
P.J.

Ok, I tried the steps below and still did not work, but I did notice in the services.msc window that a service called National Instruments LookOut was there and it was set to manual. LookOut was not running at the time I did this and I did not have LookOut selected to run as a service. But I did set this to "Automatic" and it now loads fine on startup.
Thank you for your suggestions.

lkads -remove
lktsrv -remove
lkcitdl -remove
lkads -install -auto
lktsrv -install -auto
lkcitdl -install -auto
