Bonzo, I have done this many times, Lookout has a decent library of graphics but I find myself making most of my own. From CAD, pull down the File menu and choose "export" and export the file as a .wmf directly into program files\national instruments\lookout\graphics\...then what ever specific folder you want it in. I use alot of custom graphics so I will create a new folder within the graphics folder and call it Custom. I mostly develop on my machine then install onto the customers machine. Separating the graphics into a new folder simplifies this since all these files will not be on the new machine. This also goes for anything I bring in from the extended graphic library. I will often use Corel Draw 5 to import, modify and export existing graphics. For example I recently n
eeded some small motor graphics that needed to be at a 30 degree angle. I have also used CAD, Corel and MSPaint to design bitmaps for moving animators. One other thing you could try is from CAD, chosing "select all", then copy it to your clipboard and paste it into MSPaint then saving as a .wmf. Hope this helps.
