From the stack dump I see that the ASCII object might be the problem. Either you have (a) some Lookout.ini settings not yet applied to your new installation of Lookout 3.8, or (b) the specific COM port might be not available on this new W2K system, (c) or there is a bug in Lookout 3.8 build 15.
The specific solutions could be:
(a) move as well the lookout.ini from your old computer to the new one, which should set all the COM port settings to the same as before on the older OS.
(b) modify your process file on the old computer to use a COM port which is available on the new system, or delete the ASCII object and add it back once you are on the new system.
(c) Upgrade to the latest, brand new Lookout 5.1 version which is acutally tested on Windows 2000/XP (Lookout 3.8
was realesed before Windows 2000 was on the market and therefore it might be not as stable as newer releases).
