DSC and Omron CPM1(A) vs Lookout and Omron CPM1(A)

Hello,

We are deciding to buy Labview DSC or NI Lookout.  Labview DSC has the preference, although one needs NI OPC servers too.

However there is still one answer to be answered:

In the driver list of Lookout, 'Omron CPM1' is mentioned, even so is Omron Hostlink.

In de driver list of the NI OPC servers someone of NI Belgium showed that the Omron CPM1 isn't mentioned; Omron Hostlink is.

So has anyone of you experience with NI Labview DSC in combination with Omron CPM1 or CPM1A?  If so, is it working by using the DSC moule?

I checked the NI OPC Server. It doesn't mention the CPM1. So the NI OPC Server is not supposed to support CPM1.

Lookout supports it. You can download the evaluation version from https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/software-products/download.opc-servers.html

Another way is to use DSC with other OPC Server.

yes, you can try the NI OPC Server evaluation.
