Generating Data Reports

Hi,

Well we have gotten lookout up and running and have been recording data for some of our points like Meter Flows, Start and stop of pumps, etc...

Now we would like to generate a report on one of our Meters Flow. Im new to Lookout and im not sure how to generate a report. Also wondering if its possible

to use crystal reports to create a report from the Citadel Database. Any infor would be greatly appreciated.

Having not used Crystal Reports, if it supports SQL commands, you can create reports pretty easily.

What kind of reports do you plan to make?

From What i understand it uses Microsoft Access as the driver and allows you to create custom templates and reports.

For example we would like to take our Pump Flows and total them for a hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly reports to show how much water we are pulling out of the ground.

Also would like to compare these pump water flow totals to the water tank that the water is going into;(it has its own Big Flow meter) to see how close the water meters are.

I don't know how to use Crystal with Citadel. But I think you can easily retrieve the data in Excel and do the report.

Follow this aritcle to import the data you want into Excel, and then maybe use some Excel functions.
