How can I connect to an Allen-Bradley SLC/504 using a PCI card in an IBM PC?

To this point I have used the SLC/504 object with an Allen-Bradley 1784-KTX card. New PCs have no ISA slots and so I'm wondering about PCI card support.

The PCI version of the 1784 is not supported. The knowledge base articles covers the working solutions.

Another option is the <1770 KF2 through the serial port. This is what I'm using for the same PCI reason.

Thanks for the info. For my purposes, I find the serial connection much to slow. I am going to try the PCI ethernet connection to a SLC/505.
