How do I enable an additional analog input ?

I work on an island in the middle of the Pacific ocean. I have inherited a SCADA system using Lookout software with this new job.

The system is working fine.  I have figured out how to fix a few problems with the graphics but anything else is over my head !

All I have to do is enable an additional analog input on my remote RTU and have it display on my process screen.

HELP !

Step 1:  Hook up the analog input to the RTU
Step 2:  In Edit mode, select the correct data member from the driver object that communicates with that RTU. (modbus, dnp, etc.)
Step 3:  Drag selected object to the screen, this creates a simple expression.

Without knowing your system that is about as I can help, good luck.

Yes, you need to figure out the correct address and drag it onto the panel, after you connect the AI to the RTU. Which protocol, or which driver object do you use?

Thanks Guys:

Mike: I was doing things in the wrong order. I tried to set up the object first then hooked up the input. I don't get access to the
remote unit that often, it's on a different island than I am and unless something is broken I don't get to go there. I'm trying
to get this set up for a future project. Should have better luck next time.

Ryan: We have a Server version of Lookout.
