How to create an calculation for a rain guage?

I will be sending data over analog, where 0 pulses / minute = 4 ma and 32 pulses / minute = 20 ma.  1 pulse = 0.01" of rain fall.  I need to come up with a formula to calculate this data.

Edit Member Data Configuration.

Bring the value in (ill use modbus in this example)

Say the driver is Modbus1 and the value comes in on 30001.

Right click the Modbus1 and go to Edit Datamember Configuration.

Select 30001 and you can scale the value .  Assuming 12 bit.  

RAW MIN 0 (4ma), RAW MAX 4095 (20ma)

ENG MIN 0, ENG MAX  32

You now have a scaled value.
