How to recover Developer password?

We (Results Engineering) inherited this public water account from a previous sys integrator

who is no longer in business. Alarms are not being sent to the pagers and we were tasked to

find out why. First issue is, of course, that no one knows the developer level (or

administrator) password.
How do I recover it, or delete it so that we can gain access??

Ill let the "official" NI guys answer first.  I know a work around, but its not official.

I already found an "official" answer in this forum... and the answer is: "Contact Technical Support" 😞 . Which, BTW, is email only, 1-2 day response time. So I've sent off  my email and we'll see what they send me. I imagine if I delete lookout.sec I could start over, but the project I've inherited (from a now defunct integrator) has quite a few levels of security, so I'd rather just reset the administrator password if possible.

Half way there.  Get a clean, fresh lookout.sec.  Rename old to lookout.sec.bu.  Copy new into folder.
