HyperTrend and Expressions

I am looking for a way to use HyperTrend to trend an expression I have created.

Does HyperTrend allow trending of an expression? I have not been able to create a trend using Lookout 6.5 or 6.6.

Anyone with work around ideas.

You should be able to create the expression and then edit its data member configuration to log it to the historical database.  Once it is in the database, you should be able to trend it on a hypertrend like any other point in the database.

Yes that works.

I was working in the office this morning and was able get it working.

Just walked back in the door from implementing on the job site.

I never noticed the ability to log in the data member configuration before because the expression was set

on undefined. Once I set to numeric things started lookin up.
